About A1Zap
Welcome to the Social Builders Era.
The Team
Our founders previously built Forage — growing it to 10M+ users, partnering with 5,000+ universities and hundreds of Fortune 500 companies, and taking it through a successful exit.
We're also 2x Y Combinator founders, and are now working alongside a broader team of builders, creators, and operators helping launch and scale products like RMR across campuses.
In short, A1Zap is built by a team that has done this before.

What We're Building
We're building the platform for the Social Builders era — where social isn't just something you consume, but something you create and run together.
Not long ago, social media promised everyone a voice. And for a while, it felt true. We posted. We scrolled. We followed. We watched. But somewhere along the way, creation became performance. A handful of platforms. A handful of formats. A handful of algorithms deciding what mattered.
We believe social was never meant to be passive. It was meant to be human. Light. Playful. Collaborative. Not just something you consume — something you do together.
The Influencer Era taught us how to broadcast. The Social Builders Era teaches us how to build ideas into something tangible. Projects. Chatbots. Games. Experiences. Tools. Things your friends can actually use.
College has always been where new eras begin. Movements. Music. Startups. Ideas. Now it begins again.
Partner With Us
We're an early-stage, venture-backed startup that loves partnering with students, societies, and universities who want to learn from and build alongside startups. Our founders previously built and scaled Forage, an edtech company used by 10+ million students worldwide, and that experience shapes how we collaborate with students today.
If you're interested in workshops, case competitions, or collaborative projects, we'd love to hear from you.
Shoot us an email at partnerships@a1base.com to get the conversation started.
