A1Zap U.S. State Privacy Addendum

1. Scope

This U.S. State Privacy Addendum supplements the A1Zap Privacy Policy and applies to residents of U.S. states that provide comprehensive consumer privacy rights, including California and other states with similar laws.

This Addendum uses terms such as "personal information," "personal data," "consumer," "sale," "sharing," "targeted advertising," "sensitive personal information," and "sensitive data" as defined by applicable law.

2. Notice at collection

A1Zap collects personal information to operate a social, creator, messaging, mini-app, AI, advertising, and mobile platform. We collect the categories described below for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy and this Addendum.

3. Sources of personal information

We collect information from you, your device, your activity, other users, guests, creators, community administrators, event organizers, advertisers, app stores, payment processors, phone-verification vendors, age-assurance vendors, analytics partners, advertising partners, integrations you authorize, service providers, and public or commercially available sources where permitted.

4. Purposes

We use personal information for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy, including providing the Services, account creation, authentication, age gating, communities, chats, feed ranking, creator tools, shared sessions, AI features, mobile permissions, subscriptions, Sparks, support, safety, moderation, legal compliance, analytics, advertising, attribution, and fraud prevention.

5. Sale, sharing, targeted advertising, and opt-out rights

A1Zap does not sell personal information for money. However, some disclosures involving cookies, SDKs, pixels, mobile identifiers, conversion events, or similar technologies may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising under certain state privacy laws.

You may opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising by using the "Your Privacy Choices" link, applicable consent manager, supported opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control, or other methods we provide.

Where required by applicable law, A1Zap honors Global Privacy Control and similar legally required opt-out preference signals on supported browsers and environments. If you are logged in and we can reasonably associate the signal with your account, we may apply the opt-out more broadly where required or feasible.

6. Sensitive information

A1Zap uses sensitive personal information or sensitive data only for permitted purposes, such as providing requested features, security, fraud prevention, age assurance, legal compliance, safety, moderation, account authentication, and user protection, unless we obtain consent or provide additional choices where required.

A1Zap does not use sensitive information for unrelated profiling or targeted advertising without legally required consent and product approval.

7. Minors

A1Zap is not available to children under 13. A1Zap does not knowingly sell or share personal information of users under 16 and does not knowingly use personal information from known minors for targeted advertising.

If A1Zap has actual knowledge that a user is under 16, our product rule is to disable behavioral advertising, custom audience targeting, third-party ad pixels, and sale/share-style disclosures for that user.

8. Your rights

Depending on your state, you may have the right to:

Know or confirm whether we process your personal information.
Access personal information we maintain about you.
Receive a portable copy of certain personal information.
Correct inaccurate personal information.
Delete personal information, subject to exceptions.
Opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling.
Limit or opt out of certain uses of sensitive information.
Appeal our decision on a rights request.
Use an authorized agent where permitted.
Avoid unlawful discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

9. How to submit requests

You may submit privacy requests by emailing help@a1base.com or by using any rights-request form, privacy-choice center, or in-app control we provide.

Please include enough information for us to verify and process your request. For account-specific requests, using a logged-in account control is usually the fastest and most secure method.

10. Verification and authorized agents

We may verify your identity by matching information you provide with information we maintain, confirming email or phone ownership, using logged-in controls, or requesting additional information. We will use verification information only for verification and request processing unless otherwise permitted by law.

Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law. We may require proof of authorization and may ask you to verify your identity directly.

11. Appeals

If we deny your request and your state provides an appeal right, you may appeal by emailing help@a1base.com with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." We will review the appeal and respond as required by applicable law.

12. Retention

We retain each category of personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy, including to provide the Services, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce terms, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain security, and satisfy accounting, tax, app-store, and audit requirements.
